Before AIR I had trouble expressing my ideas because of my shyness. But now, I express my ideas and am not as shy anymore, and I can let my creativity shine.
The support, morale, and messages of self-worth and power that AIR gives to girls are so valuable! Through the programs I became more connected to my artistic capabilities (especially my love of singing), and to myself.
AIR helps you to connect with other girls in your area and beyond. The leaders are fantastic, and the girls you meet are awesome and become lifelong friends. You realize you aren't the only one with problems and struggles in your life. You're not alone.
AIR gave me the tools to explore and cultivate my own creativity and humanity. We are always faced with choices, some more difficult than others, and finding what resonates most with our own souls is what ultimately works. Nowhere in my life has this been more evident than during my time at AIR.
Before joining AIR, my daughter was really struggling at school and at home. At AIR, she made new friends and was able to talk to caring adults. AIR became something she really looked forward to. Thank you so much for this incredible gift!
I am so happy to see how much AIR has grown since I was a part of the program…. AIR Has affected me still to this day….I think back on my days of Jr. High and how much things have changed, and how positive the program had been on my life.

When I’m not at AIR, I’m pretty sad all the time. Being at AIR gives me four hours a week to be happy and leave negativity at the door. My confidence has increased slightly, which is a BIG thing for me to experience. I can be a little more social and use writing as a positive coping skill.
At AIR, girls are: the cherry on top of the sundae; important, loved & respected; treated with respect and given FREEDOM to be enthusiastically confident; encouraged to do THEIR personal best, to try their hardest, and to face their goals head on, all with confidence and a smile.
This program had a truly amazing impact on my daughter. She had been in such a dark place previously for so many months. Praise from her workshop leaders really built her up. Thank you for this opportunity. It was more than I expected—I had hoped my daughter might manage; instead, she blossomed.
I like AIR because the sense of being part of a team. The fact that everyone gets a chance--no auditions or try-outs.
