Arts In Reach is currently running one of our after school programs, the Phenomenal Women Project. This year the teens are working with artist Cara Cabral to learn about and create all different types of print making.

The first type of print making that they are learning is called watercolor monotypes. The process involves sketching their drawing then painting it with water colors on to a piece of prepared plexiglass. Once they have finished and their painting is dried they transfer their painting via a wet rubbing method on to a sheet of paper.
