"AIR helped me feel more hopeful and positive about my future."
AIR offers several visual and performance arts options throughout the year so that each teen can discover her own unique talents and abilities as she explores her artist within.
AIR staff, professional artists, and mentors work with teens on developing their artistic abilities so that they may grow in confidence and learn to thrive as young women. Additionally, the relationships that teens build with one another keep AIR teens coming back, program after program.
As always, programs are free of costs to participants and their families, and transportation from schools to program sites can often be arranged. For more information please call (603) 433-4278 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.

This summer's programs were a huge success! Summer programs are offered in three different concentrations: singing, visual art, and performing art. Each program is run for two weeks, from 9-3 on Monday-Friday and led by AIR's program director, as well as a lead artist in each concentration. The programs culminate in one final showcase, where the SongWorks girls CD of original songs is released, the ArtWorks girls have their art on public display, and the TheatreWorks girls perform an original piece. Everything is created from scratch - the girls write their songs, the art is original, and the performance includes script written by the girls.

SongWorks introduces both new and experienced singers to the art of writing and recording songs. Pojects during this program include two large group songs, duets, and workshops in voice, songwriting, drum circles, and music genres. Several other songwriters, musicians, and vocal instructors work with our teens to share their knowledge. In the second week of the program, the girls travel to a recording studio and record their own original songs. Girls contribute to every aspect of the CD, including its cover and artwork! The program includes a trip to a local radio station, where the girls have the chance to record a commercial for AIR and to visit Prescott Park. If you find yourself singing in the shower often and want to learn more about how songwriting works, try SongWorks!
