Alison Forbes, M.Ed., Educational Consultant and College Advisor stopped by AIR on Tuesday, February 8th, to talk to AIR teens about her career....but even more importantly she shared the qualities that were important to her as she built her business....strength and community. She told the girls that it was important to be strong but it was just as important to become part of your community and accept help from others.
Transportation is an issue for many of the girls who participate in Arts in Reach. If they don’t have a ride to the program they can’t join, and then they miss out on the mentoring and supportive classes that they so desperately need.
