SongWorks Lead Artist

Arts In Reach (AIR) a nonprofit performance and visual arts organization that works with young women ages 13-18 seeks a talented, experienced vocal teacher for their SummerWorks 2012 two-week singing project, SongWorks. The program will run weekdays, 9a.m.-3p.m., July 23-August 3. The lead artist will be a singer songwriter herself/himself, and also be a strong teacher and mentor for young women. The candidate will teach song structuring, as well as help with vocal strength and discuss aspects of vocal performance. The candidate will work with AIR's programs director to develop a fun and innovative lesson plan for SongWorks that captures the teens' interest and lets them explore the fun of singing/songwriting.
