An actor, a dancer, and a lover of pugs, Shannon brings to each program incredible experience, never ending care and compassion for girls, and a special pizazz which makes everything she does sparkle. Above all else, she is a mentor who believes deeply in the strength, courage, and individuality of young women and has the remarkable ability to bring out the best in each and every girl. And that is why Shannon is super!

Briana Serafino

AmeriCorps*VISTA

Elmira College, BA in Psychology and Women’s Studies

Briana joined AIR as an AmeriCorps Vista member in August 2011. She moved to the Seacoast area from Albany, New York. She is a free spirit and has a passion for the arts. Briana wanted to become a part of the AIR team because she believes all young women should be provided with healthy ways of expressing themselves! During her first week at AIR she was part of the large finale event for the 2011 Summer TheatreWorks program. She was breath taken by the powerful messages that radiated from the teens on stage and the impressive community support.
